Zemgale Industrial Park

The Zemgale Industrial Park, a project of national significance, is being developed in Jelgava on the site of the former airfield. The park focuses on areas of smart specialization, including bioeconomy, smart energy, information and communication technologies, smart materials, technologies, and engineering systems. By the end of 2026, the Jelgava City Municipality, with support from the European Recovery and Resilience Facility and the European Regional Development Fund, will ensure the construction of necessary street and engineering connection infrastructure to make the Zemgale Industrial Park accessible.
