To get acquainted with the city and discuss future cooperation opportunities, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Timur Rahmanov, visited Jelgava on an introductory visit on 9 July.
The Chairman of Jelgava City Council, Andris Rāviņš, introduced the ambassador to the city and its development. During the meeting, they discussed future cooperation opportunities as well as current opportunities in the field of education.
During the visit, T. Rahmanov went to the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LBTU) to learn about the university’s operations and discuss study opportunities for foreign students at LBTU.
Additionally, during the visit, the ambassador visited the Jelgava Digital Centre and went on a tour of 14 Vecpilsētas Street, getting acquainted with the history of Jelgava.
