Sculptors are invited to participate in XXII International Ice Sculpture festival

The International Ice Sculpture festival will be held in Jelgava for the 22nd time on February 2nd to 9th 2020. The event has gained recognition and popularity among Latvian and foreign guests and artists, and this year’s contest looks promising already – organized with the subject matter “Superheroes”.

Sculptors are invited to submit their application for the festival, including sketches of proposed sculptures until 18th of November. Applications submitted by sculptors will be evaluated by jury commission selecting the best authors of sketches and ideas.

 

The inhabitants of Jelgava as well as city’s guests are welcome to evaluate icy superheroes of XXII International Ice Sculpture festival from 7th to 8th of February, 2020.
