A wooden viewing tower with a well-equipped picnic place in Jelgava, Palace Island, was formed in the summer of 2018. It is intended for observation of the wild horses, birds, two rivers and city panorama in the floodland meadows of the river Lielupe, which is a protected nature territory.

“Days of Entrepreneurs” in Zemgale 2019” will take place on 26th and 27th of April at the Zemgale Olympic Centre (Kronvalda Street 24, Jelgava). More than 200 participants from entire Zemgale region will present their products and services. Visitors will be able to enjoy interesting cultural program, participate business forum, workshops and degustation.

The International Sand Sculpture Festival in Jelgava is taking place for the 13th year. Every year the festival brings together more than thirty renowned professional sculptors and artists from all over the world. The Festival will be held from 2nd to 8th of June, 2019.
