11/07/2019

On July 13th the sixth annual nocturnal half-marathon will be held in Jelgava city as a 5th stage of “Bigbank” Run Latvia event. All supporters of active lifestyle, as well as anybody else are welcome to test their strength and durability, by selecting the distance that fit their fitness level and skill!

As in previous years, organizers will offer several distances – the most sporty and durable ones can test themselves with 21 km run, others can choose shorter distances –  10 or 5 km routes. There will also be a short distance without time control for the second year in a row, giving the opportunity and fun of competition to the whole family. The smaller ones will also be able to compete by participating in the crawlers race and kids run (by their age). The main prize for youngest athletes – foam party!

Several changes in the organization of the half-marathon are introduced, comparing with previous years: adjusted routes as well as  separate start  for 5km distance runners and Nordic Walkers. Start for 10km and 21km runners at 21:50. Start for 5km runners and Nordic walkers at 22:10.
