On February 24, it will mark the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. To show solidarity with the Ukrainian people, Latvian residents are invited on Monday at 9 AM to take a moment to pause their daily activities and unite in a collective moment of silence, remembering and honoring the victims of the Ukrainian people. Meanwhile, to pray for peace in Ukraine, an ecumenical service will be held on Monday, February 24, at 6 PM at the Holy Anne Pro-Cathedral in Jelgava.

Let us continue supporting Ukraine, reaffirming that we in Latvia are not tired of the war and are ready to stand with Ukraine until its victory!
