In September, the sand sculpture park on the Pasta Island will be waiting for visitors on holidays – Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 6 PM, it will be closed on weekdays.

The entrance fee to the sand sculpture park is 3 euros for adults, 2 euros for students, pensioners, and people with disabilities. Tickets can be purchased at the Post Island, at the ticket office at the entrance to the sand sculpture park.

It should be reminded that 17 sculptors from nine countries have created their sand masterpieces on Pasta Island, reproducing world music hits. Sand art works were created by sculptors from Indonesia, USA, Mongolia, Spain, Netherlands, Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia. The theme of the festival, “World Hits,” has inspired them to express globally renowned compositions such as “Hotel California,” “Somewhere over the Rainbow,” “No Woman No Cry,” “Take On Me,” and others in the art of sand sculpture, visualizing the emotions evoked by these well-known songs.

The most ambitious artwork in the sand sculpture park will typically be a demo sculpture created by Latvian sculptors Kārlis and Maija Īle, inspired by the composition “Yellow Submarine” performed by “The Beatles.”
